Miss Shawna-Goldfish Team Teacher

Miss Shawna started at Little Oak as a toddler teacher in 2026. She holds an Associate degree in Social Sciences and Liberal Arts, as well as a Bachelor of Arts in Social Work. She enjoys engaging children in sensory and science-based activities that encourage curiosity and hands-on learning. Her favorite part about being a teacher is witnessing the joy and excitement on children’s faces especially when they accomplish new skills and reach milestones. Outside of the classroom, Shawna enjoys reading, camping, and exploring a variety of crafts – not involving yarn. When she’s not at work, she loves trying new experiences, and if she could live anywhere else in the world, it would be everywhere!
