Judy Liegmann is our amazing Spanish teacher who visits the Polar Bear and Brown Bear classrooms weekly to share her love of the Spanish language through music and fun lessons and with her amazing vocals and her guitar. Judy has been with our school since 2013, she is a California credentialed bilingual elementary school teacher, with a B.A. degree in Spanish from U.C. Berkeley and an M.A. in Instructional Technology from SJSU. Judy has studied at Madrid University in Spain, as well as the Alliance Françoise at the Sorbonne in Paris. Judy has also taught English to elementary-age children and to adults in Germany, to adults in China, as well as Spanish and ESL to all age groups here in the U.S. Judy currently teaches Spanish to elementary school children in an after-school enrichment program conducted by the Los Gatos-Saratoga Community Education and Rec. Dept.
While away from Little Oak, Judy loves to Spanish Flamenco dance, play the guitar and to sing. Judy also loves to participate in Bible Studies, have coffee with friends and family, swim laps and work out in the gym. Judy loves to teach the children at Little Oak to sing and act out silly songs in Spanish.
